Dr. Pennie Eddy is the founder of AchieveAble Supports. With a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours (first class), and PhD, she brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and lived experience to her practice.

Pennie has worked with individuals aged 5 to 60+, including those living with disability, mental health challenges, trauma, forensic backgrounds, child protection involvement, and complex support needs. Her practice is grounded in culturally safe, evidence-based care that uplifts individuals, families, and professionals alike. She is deeply committed to ethical, person-centred approaches that honour each person’s unique journey.

An accomplished researcher, Pennie has authored several peer-reviewed publications on workplace stress, mental health, and resilience. She is also a passionate mentor, providing supervision and guidance to practitioners across the sector.

Beyond her clinical and academic achievements, Pennie is a mother of four, a former support worker, and a past foster carer; these experiences deeply inform her empathetic, grounded style. She is a strong advocate for marginalised communities and champions strength-based, inclusive practice.

At AchieveAble Supports, Pennie leads with integrity, walking alongside individuals to foster growth, resilience, and self-determination. She believes meaningful change begins when people feel seen, heard, and supported in ways that honour their story, culture, and goals.
